I don't fit in boxes. My journey shaped me into someone who sees possibilities where others see obstacles. From Syria to New York, from survival to service, from curiosity to creationβI'm here to build, lead, and make things happen.
Born in Syria on October 7, 1999. Raised by my brother Nour, who was more than familyβhe was my teacher, my friend, and the father figure I needed. He taught me life's fundamental lessons when no one else could.
The Syrian war began. Life became unpredictable. Every day was a lesson in adaptation and resourcefulness. I worked as a bartender at 12, sold computers, became a publisherβwhatever it took. These weren't just survival tactics; they were my education in resilience, creativity, and the infinite ways to solve problems.
Moved to Upstate New York at 16. For the first time in 7 years, I experienced life without war. It was time to rebuild, relearn, and reimagine what was possible. The American dream wasn't just an ideaβit was my new reality to create.
Joined the US Army as a Watercraft Engineer (88L). Fort Jackson to Fort Eustis, Virginia. The structure was familiarβI'd already learned discipline in far harsher classrooms. What I gained was new perspective, technical skills, and leadership experience. Served from 2018 to 2022.
Started GenixCell, a technology solutions company. My mission: take the burden of technology off clients' shoulders so they can focus on what they do bestβrunning their businesses. GenixCell solves a simple problem: businesses shouldn't need to be technology experts to succeed. We handle the tech, they handle their business.
Stagnation is my enemy. I thrive on challenges, new adventures, and stepping into the unknown. Living comfortably isn't enoughβI'm driven to continuously develop and evolve.
There's no greater joy than helping businesses and people succeed. We're all in this together, and I believe in lifting others through knowledge, service, and direction.
Leading brings me purpose. Watching a team come together to achieve something greater than any individual could aloneβthat's where the magic happens.
Curiosity drives me. Whether it's figuring out how something works or diving into something completely new, I'm always chasing the next thing to understand. Learning keeps life interesting.
I'll never forget the first time I saw a ping pong table. I was with my brother Nour in our neighborhood, watching people compete. He played a game, and I was mesmerized.
When it was my turn, I'd never touched a paddle before. But I watched. I learned. I felt it in my heart. During warmup, I figured out the grip, the angles, the speed. Then came the gameβ21 points, people watching and cheering.
I won my very first game ever. It felt natural, like I was meant to be there. That moment taught me something crucial: when you combine desire with observation and action, extraordinary things happen.
The next day, I told Nour we needed to buy a table. We found one on Facebook Marketplace and practiced constantly. Throughout hundreds of games together, I only beat him once. Just once. But those games weren't about winningβthey were about brotherhood, growth, and the joy of mastering something you love.
Watched movies with subtitles and kept a notebook. Every new word got looked up and practiced. Music helped too. Repetition and obsession did the rest.
Built naseemasfari.com on Wix in 2011. Took it down that same year because I didn't have the tools to match my vision. Sometimes you gotta wait until you're ready.
It was my second language growing up. Haven't used it in years and most of it is gone now. Turns out you really do lose what you don't use.
Got into bodybuilding with an Olympic gold medalist coach when I was 12. Dude was wild.
Sniper fire was normal life back then. Being quick was a survivability tactic. One day he missed, twice, so I paused to flip him off before moving on.
I've always loved acting and directing. Creating characters and scenes in my head influences how I approach everything. One day I'll do it professionally.
GenixCell is more than a technology companyβit's a commitment to empowering businesses by removing the complexity and burden of technology management.
